Because of Ozark Family Camp Meeting, no services will be held at Springtown on Sabbath, June 4. We look forward to worshipping together again on Sabbath, June 12.

Ozark Family Camp Meeting Begins Tuesday, May 31

From Tuesday, May 31, through Sabbath, June 4, the AR/LA Conference camp meeting will be held on the campuses of the Gentry Church and Ozark Adventist Academy. Please log onto http://www.gentryadventist.org for details, but here's a good summary.

Weekday Speaker: Mark Finley

Well-Loved Evangelist Opens Camp Meeting

Tuesday-Thursday evenings at 7 pm in Gentry Church
Wednesday-Friday mornings at 11:05 am in Gentry Church

Mark Finley has been involved in Christian ministry for more than 35 years. He is known for his work with It Is Written, vice president for global evangelism at the Adventist world headquarters, and a pioneer in satellite evangelism. He has written more than 60 books, produced 16 video series, and regularly contributes articles to numerous periodicals. 

Weekend Speaker: Ingo Sorke

Dynamic Speaker Highlights Sabbath at OFC

Friday & Sabbath evenings at 7 pm in Gentry Church
Sabbath Worship at 8:30 am or 10:45 am in Gentry Church

Born in Marburg, Germany, Pastor Sorke came to the United States in 1985 as an exchange student. He had no intention of becoming a Seventh-day Adventist, but after a traumatic death in his Adventist host family and Bible study, he was baptized before returning to Germany in 1986. He has studied in Germany and the United States and has pastored several churches in Texas. He is currently the chair of the Religion Department at Southwestern Adventist University.

Steve Wohlberg

8:25-9:40 am and 3:30-4:50 pm in Sanctuary

Director/Speaker of White Horse Media and host of All his Voice Today radio and television broadcasts. He has authored more than 30 books, been a guest on over 500 radio and TV shows. His passion is to exalt his Savior, be a faithful husband and father, and prepare others for Jesus Christ's soon return.

Ernestine "Teenie" Finley

9:45-11 am and 2-3:20 pm in the Sanctuary

Teens joined It Is Written in 1991 where, for 14 years she conducted evangelism training seminars, health expos and cooking classes across the world. The has a wealth of experience to share with evangelism students. She is a regular speaker at conventions.

Curtis and Paula Eakins

9:45-11 am and 2-3:20 pm in the Church Community Room

Host of the 3ABN program, Abundant Living, Paula is a nutritionist, a culinary instructor, and health educator. Chris is a medical herbalist. Together, they serve as the health ministry directors for the South Central Conference of Seventh-day Adventists.

College/Youth: Scottie Deal

Morning Devotions and Evening Meetings

Meetings will be held in the OAA AuditoriumScottie is currently a student himself -- working on his bachelor's degree in Religious Studies and Practical Theology in Collegedale, TN. He commutes two Sabbaths a month to his church in Pembroke, NC. Scottie will be joined at OFC by his wife, Rebecca, and two children. He loves spending time with his family outdoors and loves to share his testimony of how God saved his life.
Afternoon Activities Include: Wednesday horseback riding, Thursday canoe trip & Friday Lake Day. Cost is $20 per day or $50 for three days.

Camp Meeting is for Kids, Too!

Meeting Locations
1) Earliteens (7th-8th grade) -- Girls Dorm Chapel

2) Junior (4th-6th grade) -- Boys Dorm Chapel
3) Primary (Grades 1-3) -- Pathfinder Building
4) Kindergarten (Ages 4-5) -- Pathfinder Building

Meeting Times (same for all ages)

1) Tuesday-Sabbath Evenings -- 6:45-9 am
2) Wednesday-Friday Morning -- 10:45 am-Noon
3) Sabbath Morning -- 9:30 am-Noon

Activity Times & Details

1) Meet at 1:45 pm in your designated meeting location.
2) Wednesday-Friday Activities from 2-4 pm. Note: Friday afternoon will be wet/dry inflatables. 
3) Sabbath Afternoon 2-5 pm -- Meet at the Pavilion for horseback riding. Parents must accompany child and sign permission form on site before child can participate.)
4) Activity Fee -- $5 per day or $15 for all 3 days.

Important Note for Parents

Parents need to accompany their children to their designated meeting areas and need to pick up their children after all meetings.

The ABC will be located in the Youth Center.
The Pathfinders will be running the Snack Shack.
