A Few Suggestions for the
Fast-Approaching School Year

School supply lists are up at Wal-Mart. Target is advertising tax free shopping for school supplies. School starts at OAS and OAA on August 15 -- just five short weeks. A few suggestions to get ready for another great year at our schools:
1) Pray for the staff (and staff selections yet to be made) at both schools.
2) Pray for parents that are wrestling with finances or the decision to send their kids to OAS/OAA.
3) Encourage someone you know to send their child to OAS or OAA.
4) Grab a Worthy Student Change Bucket at church this Sabbath and begin filling it up for the Worthy Student fund.
5) Begin clipping Box Tops for Education now. Never too early.
6) Watch for work bees or volunteering opportunities as we near the start of school.

Facing Life's Storms

Pastor Cash's Sermon -- July 16

Who hasn't had a "camping in the rain" story. Drawing from his own collection of stormy Pathfinder campouts, Pastor Tony will draw our attention to tents. These simple structures will illustrate how God and the church are shelters from life's storms. Join us for this practical, real-life sermon of God's protection.
