Get Ready: Springtown Spurs
and Adventurer Clubs Beginning Soon!

REGISTRATION: Wednesday, August 10, 6:30 pm
Family Night at Siloam Springs Aquatic Center

Two new and exciting programs are about to begin for our young people at Springtown. These fun, life-changing clubs will help your child(ren) make friends, learn about our wonderful world, serve others, and learn more about Jesus! Here are the details:
1) Springtown Spurs -- Our new Pathfinder Club
a. Who: ALL kids in grades 5-8
b. Where: Meetings will be held at Springtown and in other fun locations.
c. What: From "Bible Experience" and service to earning honors and camping -- this is going to be an active club your child won't want to miss. A campout at Springtown is already planned for Labor Day weekend and the Spurs will attend the Union Camporee in October.
d. When: A complete schedule of meetings/activities will be available at registration.
e. Why: Larry Overton and his team of leaders believe that Patfhinders is a great way to keep your kids engaged in wholesome activities, Christ-centered learning, and service to others.
2) Springtown Adventurers -- A Club for the Younger Ones
a. Who: ALL kids in Pre-K through grade 4
b. Where: Meetings will be held at Springtown and in other fun locations.
c. What: Adventurers aims to strengthen the parent/child relationship and enhance the child's spiritual, physical, mental, and social life.
d. When: A complete schedule of meetings/activities will be available at registration.
e. Why: Adventurers gives our younger kids the opportunity to belong to an organized peer group - something important as they grow older. And as kids grow older, it gets them ready to become a Springtown Spur!
3) PARENTS -- Please make Pathfinders and Adventurers a part of your kids lives. If there are cousins, school friends or neighborhood kids, please include them in both clubs.

Please bring your riding/push mowers, weed eaters, rakes, wheelbarrows, blowers and edgers. Bring a dish to share at a lunch or early supper potluck. Many hands will make the work fun and get the campus ready for registration on August 15.

OAA Dorm Move-In Day

Sunday, August 15

Just a heads-up . . . in two weeks the kids will be flooding back onto the Academy campus and we'll greet them by helping them move into their dorm rooms. Of course -- as many of you know -- we'll need your Gators, ATVs and other moving machines. Watch for the all the details. A great way to put smiles on the faces of parents and students.
