Freedom Quartet: Worship Concert

Next Sabbath, August 27, 10:45 am

We are honored to have the Freedom Quartet worship with us next Sabbath. Called one of the best new Traditional Quartets in 2015 by Singing News magazine -- we are in for a real worship treat of Southern Gospel music. A perfect opportunity to share Springtown with friends, family & co-workers that you know love great Southern Gospel music.

We Mourn Mel Current

Visitation: Friday, August 26, 6-8 pm

We are saddened by the death of Mel Current -- the father of Rose Miller. Mel died this past Sabbath. There will be a viewing/visitation service on Friday evening at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs on Hwy. 412. No formal service is planned. In September there will be a service in Colorado during a family reunion. Please lift up Rose and Billy Miller and their entire family during this time of loss.

Two New Study Groups Begin Next Week

If you're the parent of an adult child, there's hardly a day goes by when you don't think about or have concerns for your adult child. Whether they're in college, single, married with kids or even sporting some of their own gray hair -- you never stop caring for your kids. This is not a study for parents with troubled kids. This is a group for parents that simply love their adult children and want what is best for them. We'll use Stormie Omartian's book by the same title as the catalyst for our discussions. REMINDER: Begins Wednesday, August 31, 7 pm at the Springtown Church. ALL parents of adult children are encouraged to join this study.
This amazing series of studies was developed by Ty Gibson. Pastor Tony and Sherri Cash are excited to share them with you in their home beginning Wednesday, August 31, 6:30 pm (345 Wilson Drive in Gentry). Our world is filled with dark rumors and misinformation about God that has many people either running from Him in horror or trying to serve Him like slaves. [truth]LINK is a unique Bible study experience that achieves a high level of doctrinal clarity while showing the centrality of God’s love to every biblical truth. Whether you're a "veteran" in the faith or eager to dig deep in the Bible for the first time -- this will be a fresh, exciting weekly series.

Women's Study Group Continues

Longstanding Tradition: Mondays, 11:30 am-1 pm

The Springtown women would love to have you join them every Monday for Bible study, prayer and fellowship. They are currently studying Psalms. Lunch is provided each week.

Springtown Spurs First Meeting!

Sunday, August 28, 9 am-Noon

A Springtown "first" will take place this coming Sunday -- the first meeting of our new Pathfinder Club in the Upper Room in the Storage Building. If your 5th-8th grade son or daughter would still like to join, it's not too late. Just call Larry Overton at 479-223-0175. Your child won't want to miss the honors, camping, service projects, Bible Experience, and so much more.

Pathfinder-Adventurer Induction Service

Sabbath, September 3, 3 pm

The Springtown Adventurer and Pathfinder Clubs invite their family, friends and Springtown church family to their induction service. This candlelight ceremony is a special, dignified time when new Pathfinders and Adventurers are officially admitted into their clubs. Don't miss this exciting time for our kids!

Look Who's Coming to Dinner!

Sabbaths September 17 & 24

The first installment of this mysterious Sabbath dinner program was a success! Now we'd love for even more of our Springtown Family to give it a try. Here's how it works: One week you and your family are surprise guests at a member's home for Sabbath dinner. The next week you host surprise guests at your home for Sabbath dinner. Here's the kicker: Whether you're the guest or the host -- it's a complete surprise "who's coming to dinner" or "where you're going to dinner." The only thing you're certain of is a fantastic meal and time getting to know your Springtown friends even better.  WATCH FOR SIGN-UP SHEETS!
