Plant Small Power Beds for Seniors

Arrangements have been made for Springtown to plant flowers in front of Flint Creek Apartment residences in Gentry. The beds are about 2' x 3' -- easily planted in a short period of time. Here's how it works: 1) Call Larry Yeagley at 479-220-9242 to get your assignment. 2) Stop by to meet your new friends to determine what type of flowers they need/want. 3) Purchase material. Receipts may be submitted to the Community Fund. 4) Arrange a time to plant your friend's garden. Young and old. Families. Singles. Everyone can take part.

A Power-Packed Weekend
for Everyone that Loves Kids!

April Second Sabbath with Gary Hopkins

WHEN: Friday & Sabbath, April 7 & 8
WHO: Dr. Gary Hopkins is a friend to many at Springtown. If you haven't met Gary, suffice it to say that he's an authority on what it takes to raise happy, healthy kids resistant to the many pressures and temptations this world throws their way. His list of accomplishments and degrees is long. He's worked for the General Conference, Loma Linda University, and Andrews University. Perhaps the most important thing to remember is that his knowledge of raising healthy kids is only exceeded by his love of seeing families and churches embrace and encourage young people:
1) Friday, April 7, 6 pm -- Soup Supper & Vespers with Gary.
2) Sabbath, April 8, 7:30-9 am -- Men's Breakfast and time with Gary.
2) Sabbath School & Worship Service with Gary.
3) Second Sabbath Potluck
4) Family Vespers -- Sabbath Evening at 6:45 pm -- Parents, grandparents & all who love kids are invited to a short presentation by Gary geared especially for parents/grandparents who are actively involved in raising kids.
5) Kids Vespers -- While the parents and others enjoy Gary's presentation, there will be a fun vespers for the kids in the Pavilion.
6) Movie Night -- Following vespers, the ENTIRE CHURCH FAMILY is invited to enjoy a fun movie in the Pavilion.
ESPECIALLY FOR: Parents, grandparents, school teachers, Sabbath School teachers, church members, Pathfinder/Adventurer leaders, and everyone else that loves the kids in their family, school and church.

Springtown's Day of Hope and Compassion

Sabbath, April 22

Pots. Flowers. Smiles. Burgers. Caring. Laughter. Hospitality. They'll all come together on Sabbath, April 22, for a Day of Hope and Compassion unlike anything Springtown or Gentry has even seen. The final details are being worked out. FOR TODAY . . . reserve the entire day for a fun and rewarding way to make friends in our community. No strings. Just pots. Flowers. Smiles. Burgers. And a good measure of God's love! This is something for everyone at Springtown to do. Easy. Non-threatening. Young & old!
