The Power of God's Word

Hebrews 4:12 says, "For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart." -- Springtown will open open God's Word in Worship this coming Sabbath, March 25. Aaron Davis, one of Springtown's members, will be our speaker.

Pastor Cash Accepts Call to AR/LA

Transition to New Conference Job Begins in May

We regretfully announce that Pastor Tony Cash has accepted a call to be the Planned Giving Director/Trust Services for the Arkansas-Lousiana Conference of Seventh-day Adventists in Shreveport, LA. After two weeks of certification training at Andrews University in May, Pastor Tony, Sherri and the boys will make the move to Shreveport after Ozark Family Camp Meeting, May 30-June 3. Pastor Tony's ministry at Springtown has touched us all. He shared his vision for Pathfinders and Adventurers (thanks to Sherri, too). He's been with us for births and funerals. Counseled and encouraged. Listened and advised. His love for God's Word and passion for sharing Jesus is real. He is a friend to our kids in Sabbath School and at OAS. He has helped set our shared vision for the future. Each person reading this announcement has a story and reason to rejoice for the time that Pastor Tony has been with us. In God's service there is no such thing as a "lame duck!" While his focus is understandably shifting, we look forward to worshipping, serving and fellowship with the Cashes in the remaining weeks! In your own way and time, please personally thank Tony and Sherri for sharing their lives with us in ministry.

Please Pray for the Men's Group

Springtown's Day of Hope and Compassion

Sabbath, April 22

Pots. Flowers. Smiles. Burgers. Caring. Laughter. Hospitality. They'll all come together on Sabbath, April 22, for a Day of Hope and Compassion unlike anything Springtown or Gentry has even seen. The final details are being worked out. FOR TODAY . . . reserve the entire day for a fun and rewarding way to make friends in our community. No strings. Just pots. Flowers. Smiles. Burgers. And a good measure of God's love! This is something for everyone at Springtown to do. Easy. Non-threatening. Young & old!

Hope & Compassion Planning Vespers
