It's Almost Here, Guys!

Friday Evening, May 12 - Sunday Morning, May 14

It's really quite simple -- we'd love for all Springtown men to join us for a Men & Boys Campout on the Springtown campus. Dads/sons, grandpas/grandsons, uncles/nephews, and of course -- men with no boys. Bring your tent, RV, hammock or cot. We'll pitch camp in and around the Pavilion. Come enjoy outdoor cooking, a camp fire, singing and stories around the camp fire, s'mores, activities, and more. We'll enjoy Sabbath School, Church & Potluck with our church family. SUNDAY MORNING MOTHER'S DAY PANCAKE BREAKFAST -- The entire church is invited to enjoy pancakes in the Pavilion.
Please Note: The weather forecast is a bit sketchy for that weekend. Watch for late breaking information on the campout.

Friday, May 12, 9 am-noon

Parents can tour the school, interview prospective teachers, and visit with other OAS families. If your child/grandchild attends OAS, don't hesitate to invite other friends and family members to attend.

Springtown Adventurer Investiture

The Springtown family is invited to an important service in the life of our Adventurers -- Investiture. You may well remember this service yourself from years gone by (Pathfinders or Adventurers). Come celebrate with these wonderful young members of our church family.

Disaster Season is Here!

You Can Help Those Affected

The AR/LA Conference is looking for cleaning supplies to fill "flood buckets" that are in high demand following floods, hurricanes and tornadoes. These buckets are identified with the Adventist Community Services logo. Recent high demand has wiped out our supplies. Here's the need: scouring pads, sponges, scrub brushes, bleach (1 qt or 82 oz bottles, liquid laundry detergent (25 or 50 oz bottles), all purpose household cleaner (12-16 oz bottles), dust masks, disposable non-latex gloves, work gloves, 24 count bag roll of heavy-duty trash bags (33-56 gallon), insect repellant (non aerosol). Additional items needed are: shovels, garden rakes, brooms, mops, trash cans, paper goods (toilet paper, paper towels, paper plates, plastic silverware), bedding. Donation collection locations are the AR/LA Conference Office at 7025 Greenwood Road, Shreveport, LA 71179, and Clinton Seventh-day Adventist Church, 125 Skyhill Drive, Clinton, AR 82031. Cash donations can be placed in a tithe envelope marked Arkansas Disaster.
