Back Porch Grilling Social

A Springtown Favorite: Sunday, July 13, 5:30 pm

At last year's Grilling Social we had a blast! This year promises no different. We'll be grilling lost of vegetarian dishes, enjoying wonderful picnic-style sides & even trying out some grilled desserts. If that's not enough, we'll enjoy music, yard games, horseshoes, great fellowship and even an inflatable water slide for the kids! It's all held in and around Springtown's Pavilion. This is one of those events that's perfect for sharing with a family member, friend or neighbor. Mark your calendar and plan to be part of the delicious fun!

Women's Study Group

Monday, June 30, 11:30 am-1 pm

Even with busy vacation schedules, the Springtown ladies are still meeting throughout the summer. They're enjoying an informal time of prayer, Bible study and fellowship. Please join them and bring a sack lunch.

Midweek Refreshing

Wednesday, July 2, 7 pm

Summer's always a good time for reading . . . so each Wednesday evening Springtown's getting together to discuss a little book called "The Great Hope." A condensed summary of The Great Controversy, we're look at the struggle between good & evil & rejoicing in Christ -- the Victor. This week's study centers on Chapter 5 (GC 34) entitled False Hope. Please join us!

How Cotton Presley Found Amazing Grace

Second Sabbath, July 12

A full slate of services and activities are planned:
1) Sabbath School for Kids & Adults begins at 9:30 am
2) Children's Church will be held again this week!
3) Cotton Presley, an officer in the Salvation Army and a hospital chaplain at Washington Regional Medical Center, will share his story of hope. He become addicted to heroin while serving as a soldier in Vietnam. It would take a lifetime to learn how to rise and stay above his addiction. Cotton and his wife, Rose Anna Presley, will tell their story of the amazing grace that lifted them from a life of addiction and codependency to a life of professional compassionate care of others. Come hear their story about how an encounter with Jesus forever changed their lives and how to make your church a safe place to minister to those in need.
