Springtown Salutes its Women!

Next Weekend -- A Sabbath Dedicated to the Ladies in our Church

We're taking a break from our Faces Around the Manger series to recognize the beautiful faces that grace our church and homes. They're mothers, wives, friends, Sabbath School teachers, aunts, Steering Committee members, sisters, grandmothers, great grandmothers (!), and all irreplaceable in our lives and the ministry of our church. Ladies . . . this weekend is for YOU:
1) Friday Evening Vespers -- December 12, 6:30 pm, Shirley Williams' Home
2) Worship Service -- December 13 with guest speaker Carolyn Crawford
3) Lunch by Springtown Men -- 100% planned, cooked, served & cleaned up by Springtown men! Women are forbidden to enter the kitchen.
4) PJs & a Movie -- Saturday night at the home of Teresa Netzel. Starts at 7 pm or as soon as the Gentry Christmas parade is over.

Springtown loves to celebrate life -- especially when it comes in the form of a sweet baby girl. The Springtown family is asked to encircle Mia as the needs are many as she endeavors to raise her newborn daughter. Diapers (all sizes, not just newborn), Wal-Mart gift cards to help with formula purchase, basic clothing and other gifts that mom & baby daughter would enjoy. Thank you, church family.

Calling All Springtown Chefs

Friday Night at 6 pm in the Springtown Kitchen

Guys, all hands are welcome to begin preparation for our Sabbath dinner. As this file footage from an earlier evening of food prep shows -- you don't have to be Bobby Flay to come help and have fun! Would love to have your help, gentlemen!

15 Families Receive Thanksgiving Baskets

But the Need Continues . . .

Thank you! Your generosity heading into Thanksgiving allowed Springtown to put food on the tables of needy families. Please continue your generosity as names are already being collected for Christmas Baskets. God has blessed so many of us. Thank you in advance for keeping the Springtown's food pantry full so we can serve our friends and neighbors in the community.
