Miracles: When the
Unexpected Happens!

This coming Sabbath, December 5, Pastor Tony Cash will examine miracles -- what happens when the unexpected happens. He'll illustrate the topic with the stories of Elizabeth, Zachariah, and Mary. Please join us in Worship.

Homeless Project Kicks Off This Week

First Orientation Meeting -- Thursday, December 3

Volunteers are organizing to begin making SLEEPING BAG QUILTS for the homeless. Everyone's invited to an orientation meeting in the Gentry Church Earliteen Room on Thursday, December 3, 6-8 pm.
1) Volunteers Needed: Men & women, ages 10-100, are invited to help make these quilts. If you can cut, sew (machine, by hand or want learn), tie or iron -- this project is for you.
2) Donate: Used jeans, cotton shirts, sweatshirts or other warm material that would work for filler, and bedding sheets.
If you have questions, please contact Marti Cash at 479-228-0962. If you'd like to help or are just curious about this ministry -- please plan on attending the meeting this Thursday.

A Cup & A Verse

Friday Night, December 4, 7-8 pm

Bert & Bryan Yeagley invite you to their home for a warm drink around the fireplace and a time of sharing from the Scriptures. The format is simple -- come prepared to share a few of your favorite verses about STRENGTH, i.e. Isaiah 40:31. The Yeagleys live at 21325 Oak Park Lane in Siloam Springs. Need directions? Springtown Kids Warm Kids in Need

Help our Kids Make Fleece Blankets
for the NWA Children's Shelter

Springtown kids will gather this coming Sunday, December 6, from 1-3 pm for a "Blanket Party" at the home of Darla Cairus (21685 Merino Court in Dawn Hill). They'll enjoy hot chocolate and treats as they work hard to meet their goal of 48 blankets by Christmas for every child in the shelter. Our kids need our help:
1) Fleece Donations Needed: 12 blankets for infants/preschool require 1.5 yards of print and 1.5 yards of solid per blanket. 12 blankets for boys require 1.5 yards of print and 1.5 yards of solid per blanket. 24 blankets for girls require 1.5 yards of print and 1.5 yards of solid per blanket. 
2) Donation Drop-Off: Please bring your donation to the OAS office this week or to church at Springtown this coming Sabbath.

Come celebrate the marriage of Skyler & Annie Williams this coming Sunday at Springtown. We'll enjoy a light meal and festivities. They are registered at REI, Bed Bath & Beyond, Target & Anthropologie. Skyler is the son of Jay & Shirley Williams. Everyone is invited to this joyous occasion.

Women's Weekend: December 11 & 12

Annual Weekend Features Health Magazine Editor

Heather Quintana, editor of the Adventist Church's Vibrant Life Magazine, will be the guest speaker for Women's Weekend. The line-up is as follows:
1) Friday Vespers, December 11, 6:30 pm, at the home of Darla Cairus (21685 Merion Court in Dawn Hill). Heather will speak on The Power of Positivity.
2) Sabbath Adult Feature, December 12, 9:30 am. During Sabbath School, Heather will talk on Three Ways to Experience a Spiritual Breakthrough
3) Sabbath Worship Service, December 12, 10:45 am. Heather will bring a message entitled How to Become Fully Alive
4) Lunch Prepared by Springtown Men!
5) PJs & a Movie, Saturday Night at the home of Teresa Netzel immediately after the Gentry Christmas Parade that begins at 6:30 pm.
Heather is the editor of Vibrant Life, the oldest health magazine in the nation, and the author of Momentum, a daily devotional for teens. As a writer and editorial consultant, she has been published in numerous magazines and Web sites. A graduate of the Adventist Theological Seminary at Andrews University, Heather is married to a pastor and lives in eastern Oklahoma. 

Seven Seals Seminar

Weekend of December 11-13

Movies, songs and seminars have promoted the 7 Seals of Revelation for years, but always seem to miss the important point -- Jesus! Pastor Marc Lien will help interpret the symbols consistently by using the Bible, revealing a persistent God that wants to seal you in Himself for eternity -- if we let Him.

3) Sunday, December 13, 10 am-12:30 pm
Held at NWA Compass Fellowship.

Church Business Meeting - 12/14 & 7 pm

Please plan on attending an important year-end meeting. The agenda includes review of the Phase One budget for our expansion, election of new Steering Committee members, and action of changes to Steering Committee operating guidelines.
