Women's Study Group - Mondays, 11:30 am-1 pm

Just for ladies, this beloved group meets weekly for Bible study, prayer & fellowship. The group has started a new study series. Lunch is provided.

The Compelling Love of God - Wednesdays, 7-8 pm

This week's study is Motivated by Fear or Love (chapter 3 in your guide or http://www.compellinglove.org). This Bible based study is blessing all that attend and there's room for you, too! Please join us.

Volunteers/Material Needed for Quilts For Needy

Quilts for Needy (QFN) invites you to join them as they fabricate handmade quilts for the needy in our community. A lot of hard work, fun and fellowship is happening and you're invited to join in. The quilts are made from 95-100% recyclable materials. QFN needs the following items: used jeans, cotton shirts, sweatshirts or other warm material such as blankets that would work for filler, and bedding sheets. Want to help QFN or donate: If you'd like to volunteer, donate materials, or want further information, please contact Marti Cash at 479-228-0962 OR join the QFN volunteers on the 2nd & 4th Thursday of each month from 2-4 pm at the Siloam Springs church fellowship hall.

DivorceCare Group Starts Feb. 21 at Springtown

DivorceCare, a 13-week divorce support group, begins this coming Sunday, February 21, from 10-11:30 am at Springtown. If you (or someone you know) is going through a separation/divorce or has been divorced for some time, they may benefit from this recovery seminar and support group. Topics such as Facing My Anger, Facing My Loneliness, New Relationships, KidCare, Forgiveness, and more are covered. There is a $25 material fee, but scholarships are available. PLEASE SHARE this group with friends or family that might be helped. 

DC4K -- Divorce Care 4 Kids Begins Feb. 21, Too!

The impact of divorce on kids can be devastating. Springtown is offering this special program for kids 5-12 that have been impacted by divorce. Like DivorceCare (for moms/dads), this program also runs for 13 weeks and begins on Sunday, February 21, 10-11:30 am at Springtown. Kids will enjoy games, activities, crafts, stories, exercise, videos, and music -- all centered around a weekly theme to help the children process the many changes they are facing. Note: Kids can attend DC4K even if their mom/dad doesn't attend DivorceCare. There is a $10 material fee, but scholarships are available. PLEASE SHAREthis group with friends or family that might be helped.

Journey to Wholeness Coming in Late March

Watch for more specific details on a new addiction support group be co-sponsored by the Springtown and Gentry churches at the TLC. This is an ongoing support group to facilitate recover of breaking away from harmful practices and strengthening an intimate relationship with God in the journey to an abundant life. The group will be open to all who desire to stay clean and sober, have loved ones suffering with addictions, struggle with emotional or mental health issues, or wish to break the bondage of compulsive behavior.

Headlines Second Sabbath

Full Weekend Planned -- February 12 & 13

Here's our line-up for this coming weekend's Second Sabbath at Springtown:
1) Our Guest: Jeff Blumenberg, associate trust director of It Is Written, will be our guest. Over the years, Jeff has worked in publishing for the Indiana Conference, Loma Linda Foods, Vibrant Life Magazine, Adventist Review, and as a financial consultant. He comes to Springtown in his role with It Is Written that is celebrating 60 years of television ministry for the Adventist Church.
2) FRIDAY SOUP SUPPERFriday, February 12, 6 pm -- Come enjoy a delicious Soup Supper and then Jeff will share stories, videos and the latest news on It Is Written.
3) SABBATH WORSHIP: Saturday, February 13, 10:45 am -- Jeff will speak on Not One Thing for our Worship Service. 
4) POTLUCKAnd of course, we'll enjoy a delicious 2nd Sabbath Potluck! Thanks to our Kitchen Prep: Karen Fritz, Edie Webb & Sandie McCranie. Bubba Bake-Off Dessert?

Valentine's Party -- Sunday, February 14, 5:30 pm

It's CRUNCH TIME now, guys!! This is the week to select your recipe, shop for ingredients, and get ready to prepare your award-winning dessert. Without help from anyone of the female persuasion, of course! So here's why EVERYONE will want to come:
1) Bubba Bake-OffGuys, please have your knock-out desserts to the church by 4:30 pm to give judges time to deliberate. Young & old can compete. You can enter more than one dessert. Prizes will be given, but everyone wins who gets to eat the wonderful creations.
2) Delicious Meal: Another great group of cooks are working hard to prepare a meal for all of us to enjoy!
3) Fun, Family Movie: After we've eaten and all the Bubba Bake-Off winners been named, we'll relax with a fun movie.
You've heard it said before & we really mean it. Sure, we're holding this ON Valentine's Day, but this is an EVERYONE party. We do recommend husbands bring their wives, but beyond that this evening won't be complete without you. See you Sunday night!
